AdvisorAdventures® designs intentional trips built around real return on your time, money, and energy — not just another itinerary.
I'm Nancy — an emergency department nurse of fifteen years, and for three of those years my husband was stationed in Germany. I split my time between there and Colorado, which meant learning a country the slow way instead of on a two-week itinerary: which trains actually run on time, which towns nobody puts on a list, how different a place feels once you've grocery-shopped in it instead of just photographed it. That's where I first noticed how differently "a trip" and travel that actually gives you something back behave.
The ER is where I learned to read a situation fast and tell what actually matters from what just looks urgent — and it turns out that's most of what good trip planning is, too. Nursing also taught me the difference between rest that restores you and time off that just looks like rest. That's the whole idea behind the Travel ROI Reset™, the same framework I use with every planning client, built to catch the gap between the trip you're about to book and the one that would actually fit your life right now.
I went back for my MBA because I wanted to build AdvisorAdventures® as an actual business, not a hobby with a nice Instagram — the numbers and the follow-through, not just the recommendations. AdvisorAdventures® is independently owned, based in Colorado, and affiliated with Fora Travel as a preferred partner — real supplier relationships and amenities you won't find booking it yourself, without losing the part that matters most: an actual person telling you the truth about whether a trip is right for you, not just whether it's bookable.
You won't find me doing daily talking-head videos about any of this — most days I'm writing, planning, or out on a trail between shifts. But every recommendation on this site, every itinerary, and every archetype in the Travel ROI Reset comes from the same place: travel should leave you better than it found you.
A quick preview of the framework behind the Travel ROI Reset™ — answer honestly, not aspirationally.
